"Creativity is a path to liberation and transformation."

Venise Keys is a queer Black woman passionate about intertwining style, art, and mindfulness in her work. With over ten years of experience as a visual art educator in secondary and higher education, she empowers students and teachers to use creativity as a tool for self-expression and liberation.
Her BFA and MFA in painting, combined with an MPS in Business of Art Design and a Mindfulness Certificate, shape her approach to art and entrepreneurship. As a 2024-25 Teacher Institute cohort member at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago, she develops contemporary art curricula inspired by MCA exhibitions. Featured on the Art of Education University’s podcast discussing entrepreneurship in the art room, she continues to fuel her passion for empowering the creative community.
Through her creative divination workshops, Venise supports others on their spiritual journey by helping them explore artistic potential, integrate mindfulness, and find their inner path.
