Who is Lashon Fouché ?
Venise Keys (she/her) is an artist, educator, writer, and consultant who works full time as the Dean of Core Art at Art In Motion Creative Arts School in the South Shore neighborhood of Chicago, IL.
She holds her MFA in Painting with a Graduate Certificate in Women's and Gender Studies from Illinois State University, along with a BFA in Painting from Bradley University in Peoria, IL.
She currently serves as Program Director for the Kappa Chapter of Gamma Xi Phi, an anti-racist, non-hazing, all gender professional fraternity for artists and creators. Venise also serves on the Caucus for the Spiritual in Art Education and the Committee for Multiethnic Concerns for the National Art Education Association.
